Short Curriculum
In August 2008 I started my PhD at Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich(ETH Zurich) at the Information and Communication Systems Research Group under the supervision of Prof. Gustavo Alonso and defended my PhD thesis in September 2012.
Starting with June till December 2011 I did an internship at Oracle USA in Redwood City.
From August 2006 till August 2008 I was research assistant at the University of Zurich in the Database Technology Research Group , working under the supervision of Prof. Klaus Dittrich .
I am coming from Rm. Valcea a nice city near the Olt river in Romania, and got my diploma from the Computer Science Department at Technical University of Cluj-Napoca.
In February 2006, I had the opportunity to go to ETH Zurich at the Institute for Computer Systems and work on my diploma thesis entitled "Ethane - The Easy to Thrive Ad Hoc Network" .
